Wrap of May Event "Expect the Unexpected - Managing Complex Changes" Registration details
A good attendance was had at the May Event to watch Rama Praad deliver his presentation on Comple Xhange and how best to avoid the pitfalls that befall so many Organisations.
A telling point was when the attendees broke out into smaller groupsto
discuss they had witnessed and then related the scariest back to the whole meeting. Yes, f
ailures are still happening at an alarming rate.
More than a couple of attendees
will be taking Rama's
lessons back to their workplace.

Data Analytics (also known as Data Science) is a new emerging field that is generating a lot of interest and excitement in the marketplace about how it helps businesses make better, more informed decisions.
However, it doesn't seem to be anything new to IT at all; we have been doing analytics since forever. Is it really different? Since businesses benefit from using it, can IT benefit too? How?
Let's have a discussion on what Data Analytics and what it's related terms mean, how it can help us to better manage IT and some considerations about what the hype doesn't tell you.
See you there!

New Look Coming Up for itSMF Singapore Website
Keeping up with the times, the itSMF Singapore (itSMFsg) website is going to get a fresh new modern look before the turn of the year.
In collaboration with itSMF International (itSMFi), the local chapter has volunteered our involvement with itSMFi's initiative to revamp the International chapter website. At the same time, we are giving the itSMFsg website a brand new look, going back to basics and refocusing on our core business of providing an independent discussion forum for the local IT Service Management (ITSM) industry.
We are very excited to be involved and are looking forward to a brand new web presence at the International and local levels. With the new website update, our members can expect to see better and more relevant news and events on ITSM at the local and global context while retaining access to the intellectual capital resources as part of the whole membership package.
In the interim, suggestions are most welcome from our members on what they would like to see or what matters most to them on the new itSMFsg website. Suggestions and enquiries can be sent to the email address email@example.com.
