In a pilot study by NTUC Future Jobs, Skills and Training Department on the Healthcare sector, it is found that in the future, job positions that are in-demand ranges from healthcare professionals to support roles such as IT and procurement. To free up workers' time for more meaningful work, productivity measures are also encouraged to be put in place.

Event Wrap - itSMF May Seminar:  "End User Experience Management - Driving you down the Road to a Proactive, Predictable and Pre-emptive Workplace"

The recent itSMF event held on 25May  with our esteemed speaker Mr Mal Herring   was both interactive and well received.  Mal provided insights on how IT must break away from the service desk paradigm that only enables agents to react to the flood of incidents and requests. He discussed how we can empower agents with technology that can allow IT to be proactive in how they engage customers and be one step ahead of the customer.  He also shared from his extensive work experiences various end-user case studies, and solutions. Mal  encouraged the participants to share their challenges, thoughts and experiences.

Our 17th April itSMF Singapore Chapter event was successfully organised. Our esteemed speaker Mr P aul Wilkinson  talked about the trends within the industry, where development opportunities can be foun d and also highlighted the issues that are currently being faced globally.

He challenged the group in regards to what service management certification has delivered to them and more appropriately to the business' that we  provide services to. He eloquently spoke about how we can take training and certification to the next level through simulation.
