Thank You and Prayer for the Haiti Team as They Travel Home Today

A big 'thank you’ to all from Carolyn and the Haiti team! “The church supplied all our needs and more, and we are very grateful. Their response was far above my expectations. We plan to carry everything with us to Haiti and will let the church know how things have been used and what we have done while we have been there.”

Please pray for safety and protection for Carolyn and Richard Lippmann, Albert and Nancy Leung, Alison Mitchell, Miranda Pomphrett and Kyle Smethurst as they travel home from Haiti today.
Parking and Being Respectful of our Neighbors’ Yards on Sunday Mornings

Thank you to all who park off-site to leave spots open in the TCC lot! One additional request… as you walk over to TCC, please be respectful of our neighbors! Avoid parking on their lawns, blocking their driveways or walking across their properties
Will You Help Us Update our Directory?

We would like to update our TCC photo directory. Being able to recognize each other will help us to get to know each other! If you would like a photo of yourself or your family’s photo included (or you would like to change your current photo), please email a good quality jpeg file to  by May 16th.

Include the names of all those shown in the photo, as well as other family members not pictured. Regular attendees who are not members are encouraged to participate too. If you are unable to submit a photo, let us know and we can arrange to have one taken at church.

This is also a great time to update your information. Our database is only as good as the information we input, so if you’ve moved, changed your email address, or want your cell number listed… please let us know.
Collection for the Teddy Sayonkon Foundation (TSF)
Teddy continues his mission work in Liberia with efforts to collect clothes, shoes, school supplies, toys, backpacks, books and Bibles. If you would like to donate any of these items, please leave them in the designated collection area in the stairwell off the lobby. Financial help toward the cost for shipping is also greatly needed.

Teddy can be reached at: or 978-761-5239.
Vases for the Flower Guild?
The Flower Guild has asked that anyone having any of TCC’s large flower vases (the ones used to send flowers home), please return them. They will be “recycled” and used once again to spread the beauty of God’s creation.  Also, if you have any extra glass flower vases you would like to donate, please drop them off in the kitchen.
Flower Donations for Sunday Services

Flowers for the Sunday services are made possible by the generous donations of members or groups who wish to give flowers in memory or in honor of a person or event. If you wish to donate flowers for a Sunday, please sign up at the Connection Hub or call the Church Office. $80.00 is the usual donation to cover cost of the flowers.

What We’re Learning in LTA - MAY 13.

Joseph finds himself sitting in a jail for something he didn’t do. Talk about hard! But it’s during this time that Joseph learned to trust God’s plan, even when it is hard.

Story Focus: I can trust God’s plan even when it’s hard. We want our preschoolers to know that they will sometimes encounter hard circumstances—going to a new school, making new friends, not getting to do something you want to do. But, God is with us and has a plan for us even when it’s hard.

Bible Story - David and Ahimelek, 1 Samuel 21-22
Bottom Line - When you’re not truthful, you hurt others.
LTA Mission Opportunity

During the month of May, LTA will be collecting new and gently used swimsuits for children living at the Henderson Settlement, a mission in the Appalachian Mountains of eastern Kentucky. The Settlement, located in the 2 nd poorest county in KY, provides a free summer recreation day program for 85-100 youth from kindergarten through high school. The program is in great need of basic summer necessities that many of the children cannot afford, such as swimsuits. Please touch base with your children and ask them to consider donating their old swimsuit to this program so campers can experience a healthy and cheerful summer. There is a collection box by the Children’s Ministry check in desk. Thank you!

Greeting Ministry

Greeters stand in the lobby and doors to help people into the building safely. Arrive at 9 am and help us foster a welcoming community.

Usher Ministry

Ushers are absolutely critical in helping newcomers form their first impression of TCC. You help set the tone for the worship experience to come. You are representatives of God’s kingdom. You’re not just opening doors, providing information, handing out bulletins or collecting the offering, you are making people feel welcome!

Sunday Hospitality / Coffee Hour

If you enjoy having a cup of coffee while chatting with others during the 10:30 Fellowship time, please sign-up (alone or with your Small Group) to host a coffee hour!  You don’t even have to provide snacks – just make, set up and then clean up the coffee and tea (Easy instructions provided – click here to see what is involved!) Participation gives you and your group an opportunity to serve the Lord and is greatly appreciated by your fellow members.

Are you accurate and reliable? Volunteers count the weekly offering (mostly checks for deposit) each Sunday, and we are in need of new helpers. Offering counters work in pairs.

The Bridge House

The Bridge House, located in Framingham, is a faith-based recovery home for men with substance abuse problems. Their program provides individualized treatment including counseling to support the spiritual, physical, social and intellectual health of each person in recovery. TCC would like to provide a meal for 50 to Bridge House every month.
Pearl Street Cafe

Pearl Street Cafe provides dinner for 50-100 people every weeknight. TCC will provide 12 volunteers to serve dinner there every 1st and 5th Monday of the month from 4:30-7 pm. It's a great way to serve others in our community and no cooking experience is required. We simply wait on tables and serve food prepared by the Pearl St. Cafe staff . There is no age restriction on the volunteers. We hope you will join us and serve!
Open Table

Open Table is a local food pantry located in Maynard. We have short opening and closing shifts on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings to serve. Adults and High School age students can volunteer at the Open Table food pantry.
