The Upper Bay Museum, located at the foot of Walnut Street in North East, MD, houses a large collection of water related articles portraying the Heritage of the Upper Bay Area. The museum houses displays of hunting, boating and fishing artifacts native to the Upper Chesapeake Bay. Visitors can trace the history of the waterfowl hunter through exhibits of outlawed gunning rigs and skilfully carved decoys. They can also follow the progress of Bay boating and fishing with many displays of model boats, nets and one of the country's best collections of marine engines.
From the serious market waterfowl hunter to the hardy commercial fisherman, waterman of every description have shaped the culture of this region. The officers and members of the Upper Bay Museum invite you to join us where this heritage has been and continues to be preserved for future generations.

A Night on the Town

Upper Bay Museum hosts a fine dinner, dance and auction to honor our past founders and supporters Nick DeMond, Stewart DeMond, Gene Howell and Allan Purner. The VFW has graciously sponsored the event by donating their banquet hall for the venue. We have received many donations for the live and silent auctions including local hunting trips, "Deadliest Catch Chesapeake Edition" crabbing experience (you take home the catch), parasailing trip, one taxidermy waterfowl, professional teeth bleaching, a professional photography portrait session,  precious decoys and many more.

The cocktail hour, dinner and dessert menus include some fine choices such as the Olive Tree's salad and bread sticks, local caterers Italian roast beef, lemon cilantro chicken and some appetizing desserts. Following the live and silent auctions you can dance the night away to the band "Jammers". Tickets are $20 and $30 at the door. There will also be a cash bar. Tickets are limited so don't miss your chance for a great night on the town.

If you are interested in tickets or donating an item to the auction please contact info@upperbaymuseum.org or the event Chairman, Vernon Bryant.
