Young BIM Leaders

On the 5th November 2014 thinkBIM travels to the University of Hull to showcase the skills of the next generation of construction professionals.

Join us to hear from the students benefitting from a unique training programme called Design...Engineer...Construct! See at first hand the incredible BIM skills they are learning.

Our chair for the evening will be Tom Oulton, BIM Manager, East Riding County Council and the CIC Yorkshire and Humberside BIM Hub Champion

We will hear from Alison Watson at Class of Your Own, the founder of Design...Engineer...Construct! and the person behind this scheme educating the future of construction as well as the experiences of Laura Mulligan one of the teachers involved at Archbishop Sentamu Academy in Hull.

Our third speaker is Rob Charlton, the chief Executive of _spacegroup architects, sponsors of the Design...Engineer...Construct scheme at the Academy and a strong advocate for the training of the next generation of construction professionals.

Rob will also present on his experiences running the BIM Campus programme for NEETs in the North East of England.
