Night of Worship This Saturday

Join us for an intimate Night of Worship this Saturday, July 14, is from 7:00 to 9:00pm. We'll worship God through music, visual art, poetry and creative writing stations, dance, and meditation/communion stations. Children up to age 8 are going to participate in their own special Night of Worship in the nursery/childcare area, complete with music and drawing out their prayers to God. Children are welcome to participate in worship in the sanctuary as long as children remain directly with their parents at all times. Don't miss this unique time to worship our Creator.

Welcome Pastor Dave Blakeslee This Sunday

This Sunday Pastor Dave Blakeslee will be sharing with us during both services. His love for clay and his passion for God have led him into a new venture of using the formation of a vessel as a modern parable of God's transformational process in our lives. Recently retired after 20 years of serving as the pastor of the Salida Vineyard in Colorado, Dave now travels and shares the message, "The Potter's Talk", wherever the opportunity arises. The teaching revolves around the metaphor of God being the Master Potter and our lives being the clay in his hands. It's an opportunity to see God through the eyes of Ephesians 2.10, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Invite your friends to be part of this powerful message of hope and love.

Christmas Bazaar

It's time again to begin thinking about Vineyard Boise's Christmas Bazaar. Each year people from all over the community bring their amazing crafts and art to sell at this fun, festive, holiday event. This year's event is being held November 16 & 17. Booth spaces quickly sell out, so reserve your spot this Sunday. We will leave the applications exclusive to the Vineyard for the next two weeks. Then applications will be available to the general public. Stop by the women's ministry table in Heritage Hall this Sunday for an application. For more information contact Kate at kate.frank@vineyardboise.org.

Calling all Actors!

We are in need of several actors/actresses for various dramatic vignettes that will be performed at the Cultivation Generation Conference on August 4th. If you have had some experience with acting, please consider being a part of this amazing presentation called "The Justice Experience". For more information contact Brandon at brandon.freeman@vineyardboise.org.

Feeding God's Children - Vineyard Boise's Legacy

Did you know that our volunteer-run ministry "Feeding God's Children", which feeds the homeless in Julia Davis Park every Sunday after second service, has been a part of our church's rich history for 19 years? It started with a man moved by God to make a real world, practical impact with what he had available to him, and has grown into the staple at Vineyard Boise that it is today. Lately, the numbers of participants from our church have fallen sharply while the numbers of those hungry continues to increase. We need your help! Be a part of a great, simple, hands-on ministry that is the hands and feet of Jesus to hundreds each Sunday afternoon. Join us in the Barnabas Center (out back by the Garden) after second service this Sunday.

 A Great Discipleship Group Opportunity!

Are you and your Discipleship Group looking for an easy and established way to "Take The Land" together? Connect with Tempe at tempe.mcfarlane@vineyardboise.org to sign your group up on one of the monthly "Feeding God's Children" teams!

Garden O' Feedin' is a Needin'

The garden is in the process of creating a children's playground for the kiddos who join their parents in the garden. In order to make this dream a reality we need 140 square feet of sod and random 2 x 4s for a fence to keep the children safe. In addition we are also in need of a double laundry sink. If you are able to help in any way, please contact Bill Meeker at 861.5710, thank you.
