We crave to be connected to others. How many times have you picked up your phone today? How many messages have your received or sent? It is hard to resist checking in-it could actually be addicting. 
 
But, what are we missing out on when we check our phone? We miss being fully present. We miss connecting and making eye contact. We miss giving the person we are with the respect and attention they deserve. We miss the full experience in front of us and miss out on living fully. 
 
Your class, whether it be yoga, pilates, Nia, Zumba, Core & More, is your chance for Moving Meditation, some peace, and to let go of the distractions. Focus on the movement of your body, the sensation of touching the floor, and engage in what you're doing.  Will you put your phone away and be present with us? We enjoy your company. Reconnect with yourself and connect with us.
Start your moving meditation practice with us. We offer basics series that give you a firm foundation. Receive valuable alignment and technique corrections and adjustments each class. Join Yoga Basics on Tuesdays  6p starting 8/22 or Saturdays 10:30a starting 8/26 or Intro to Yoga workshop on Saturday 9/16 at 1p. Strengthen your core in Pilates Equipment Basics on Wednesdays 7p starting 8/23 or Saturdays 11:10a starting 8/26.
Treat yourself to an evening of deep relaxation in Yoga, Breath & Sound with Andy McDonald and Niko this Friday 8/25, 7-8:30p. This event will include mindful yoga and breathing to open your body and mind. Transition seamlessly from yoga into an extended lying-down sound relaxation/meditation accompanied by ancient Tibetan Bowls. The sound vibrations of the bowls will wash away any worries and concerns, leaving you feeling light, clear, peaceful, and refreshed. 
Are you seeking a gentler movement practice to compliment your healing practice? The upcoming Integrative Healing Sessions with Jule Aguirre are an expanded Nia Moving to Heal experience, benefiting people of all ages and ability levels, and its tailored for those affected by cancer chronic pain, arthritis, anxiety/depression, brain injuries, eating disorders, and more. Step in to your body's healing potential on Fridays 9/8 and 9/15 at 6:30p.
