Tigers on the Loose - Tickets Now on Sale!
The entire Holy Family community is invited to Tigers on the Loose, the University’s Annual Scholarship Celebration, on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. 

Proceeds from Tigers on the Loose support student financial aid. The generosity of attendees and sponsors provides scholarships that allow current and future tigers, many the first in their families, to pursue a higher education at Holy Family and realize their dreams of being a teacher, scientist, entrepreneur, nurse, artist, or attorney.

Holy Family in the News
Middle States Update

Holy Family University hosted representatives from Middle States Commission for Higher Education (MSCHE), generally referred to as Middle States, for a virtual site visit on March 21-24, 2021.

In their initial findings, the University met each of the 15 Requirements of Affiliation and was found to be in compliance with each of the seven Standards. A preliminary report will be issued to Holy Family in April and a final report will be delivered in June. All alumni are encouraged to read the final MSCHE Self Study report available here.

  • Seven nursing students (pictured above) became the first cohort to complete Holy Family's Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing Evenings + Weekends 22-Month Cohort. The seven students were honored in a virtual pinning ceremony with the 14th 2nd Degree Baccalaureate Fast Track cohort on Friday, February 26. Read complete details here.

  • The School of Education announced the Early Childhood Education Pathway Program, an opportunity to earn a PreK-4 or PreK-4/Special Ed bachelor’s degree and Pennsylvania teaching certification in a format that meets the needs of busy working professionals. See complete details here.


  • Angela Cutchineal '06 MSHE, PCM, Director of Career Development at Holy Family, co-authored an article published on the website of the Pennsylvania Career Development Association (PACDA) that looks at what career counseling is like one year after the onset of the pandemic.   • Forty Holy Family University student-athletes were inducted into the Pennsylvania Psi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, for the 2020-21 academic year. See complete details here.

Holy Family University has partnered with OHO Interactive, a website development firm with extensive experience in higher education, to begin development of a new website for the University.
 
As part of this process, we invite you to share your insights by completing a brief Website Survey. Your ideas are critical in helping us to create a website that best meets the needs of all key audiences. The survey will remain open until Thursday, April 1.
Classes of 2020 & 2021 Commencement Update
All commencement ceremonies for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 will be held outdoors under a tent at the Newtown campus location on May 15 - 16, 2021. Due to the logistics of social distancing, each graduate may bring a maximum of two guests. All commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed.
