Tigers on the Loose
On Thursday, May 4, nearly 200 alumni, students, and friends attended Tigers on the Loose, Holy Family's Annual Scholarship Celebration, at the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Reunion 2023
On Saturday, May 13, alumni from six decades celebrated Reunion 2023.

Welcome to the Alumni Family, Class of 2023!
Holy Family celebrated its newest alumni with commencement ceremonies at the Newtown campus on Saturday, May 20.

The Class of 2023 consisted of nearly 900 students receiving bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. Honorary degrees were conferred upon Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, and Thomas R. Bailey, president of Teachers College at Columbia University.

Holy Family also hosted a Mass of Joyful Celebration for the Class of 2023 on May 18 in the Campus Center gymnasium, which was celebrated by the Archbishop of Philadelphia, Rev. Nelson J. Pérez.

The Senior Awards were presented to Kyana Zayas '23 (Alumni Senior Award) and Shania Le Maitre '23 (Sister Nemosia Award) at the Honors Convocation on April 24.

Campus News
  • On Friday, May 12 (International Nurses Day), Holy Family University's School of Nursing and Health Sciences hosted a pinning ceremony for the newest graduates who completed their traditional BSN program. Congratulations to all!
  • The May nursing pinning ceremony also served as the kick-off of the University's year-long celebration of the School of Nursing's 50th Anniversary. After the ceremony, faculty, staff, and the first Holy Family nursing graduates from the Class of 1973 enjoyed a special reception and recognition.
  • During a visit to Philadelphia in April, Dr. Rahul Gupta, the White House Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, met with Holy Family nursing students Timothy "TJ" Pritz '24 and Alivia Roberts '24, who regularly volunteer at Savage Sisters Recovery Wound Care Clinic.   • Holy Family University and Donald Goeltz, DPS, professor in the School of Business and Professional Studies, has announced the launch of Philly Venture Hub, to support local social entrepreneurship. The project was funded by an initial grant from Holy Family’s Ray and Mildred Taylor Awards, an endowment created by Carol Taylor H'22, RN, Ph.D., a former Holy Family faculty member, to provide funding for faculty research.
  • On Saturday, May 6, Holy Family University's Collegiate Recovery Program hosted a resource fair and special event, featuring guest speakers Brandon Novak, renowned skateboarder, author, addiction recovery speaker, and MTV celebrity, and Nicholas Emeigh, associate executive director of NAMI Bucks County PA.

Apply for Federal Student Loan Debt Relief
The Federal Student Loan Debt Relief program seeks to provide eligible borrowers with a one-time full or partial discharge of their loans. Federal Pell Grant recipients may receive up to $20,000 in debt relief and others may receive up to $10,000 in debt relief.
