Annual Pride Month Message
It’s June! June is about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. The Chamber will be celebrating throughout the month with our signature Pride In Business Celebration & Awards, with many of our sports teams and our Business Level Members and Corporate Partners. The community will be active with events planned throughout the month including the return of Houston’s Pride Parade. I have no doubt it will be a wonderful month of celebration but also of reflection and contemplation. Remembering PULSE
This month, we reflect on the 49 lives lost in the Orlando PULSE nightclub. They are gone but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with the families who lost loved ones during that tragic day and the 53 people who were wounded in this senseless act of hatred and violence against the LGBTQ+ community.
We stand with our colleagues at The Pride Chamber in Orlando and send our thoughts across the miles. #OrlandoStrong

Congratulations to Chamber Member, Eureka Heights, who was recently honored at the 2022 Craft Beer Marketing Awards in the Category for Best Human Rights Campaign by a craft brewery, winning a Global Crushie and a Platinum Crushie for the Americas. These top honors were earned for its Lavender Bunny beer campaign that ran during pride month in June of 2021, supporting Houston’s LGBTQ+ community and benefitting The Montrose Center.

Congratulations to Chamber Member, You Lucky Dog on their 15-year anniversary! The company opened its doors in Meyerland fifteen years ago on June 1, 2007. After ten years in Meyerland and due to the risk associated with flooding, You Lucky Dog relocated to Chimney Rock Road in 2017. The You Lucky Dog Team loves what they do, they love the pups and people they’ve met, and they are proud of their first fifteen years. Cheers to another fifteen years!!!
