Wow!! It is hard to believe summer is almost over and the kids are back in school.

We are super excited to get back to playing out at T&C with most of our fall sports registration closing and the fall seasons ready to begin in a couple weeks.

If you haven’t yet registered now is the time don’t wait as many of our sports are already filling up and space will become very limited in the next week.

Our staff has been working very hard this summer improving and preparing the complex and sports programs for a great fall season.

This year we are going to kick off the fall season and welcome everyone back to T&C with a Family Fun Day event to be held Labor Day (September 5^th) over on the Meadowheath side of the complex.

We will start the day with a Family Fun Run.

The event will consist of two divisions:

Competitive division: ages 5 to 14, advanced registration required. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division. $15 Registration fee includes a commemorative t shirt for all participants. (Unfortunately, at this time shirt size can no longer be guaranteed.)

5/6 and 7/8 – 1.5Km course

9/10, 11/12, 13/14 – 3Km course

Open division: all ages, no registration required. Participants can choose either the 1.5Km or 3Km course. Great opportunity for families to run together. Prizes are not awarded in this division.

Following the Fun Run we will have a variety of other events going on throughout the day which will including wiffle ball home run derby, kids bootcamp workout, futsal, obstacle course run, games and fitness challenge. Details on the schedule of events will be posted on our website as the date approaches. So mark the date on your calendar and plan to come out and play with us.

The Family Fun Day is just the first of several events planned of the fall season. We have several other events upcoming just in the month of September.

Golfers and non-golfers alike are encouraged to come out and join us for the annual Town & Country’s ‘Help Every Kid Play’ Golf Tournament, scheduled for Thursday, September 22nd at 1:00 pm, at Avery Ranch Golf Club. This annual event helps lower-income kids play our seven team sports with the proceeds of the tournament going to provided need-based scholarships. I hope to see many of you out there on the course.

We have a T&C Sports night at the Dell Diamond scheduled for September 10^th (game time 6:00pm). Coaches and team moms: This is a great event to have a first of the year team get together/meeting by having a pre-game tailgate party/team meeting in the parking lot and them going in to enjoy the game and post-game concert while getting to know all your new teammates. This is a T&C event and although it is a baseball game all T&C participants, friends and family are encouraged and welcome to join in on the fun.

T&C Night out at Q2 Stadium. T&C has arranged special discount pricing for the Austin FC vs Real Salt Lake soccer match scheduled for September 14^th at Q2 Stadium (game time 8:15pm). See below for details.

As you can see there is lots and lots going on out at T&C over the next several weeks, so I strongly encourage you to get your players registered soon and come on out and play with us! It is going to be another great season to be part of the T&C family.
