Tiny Socks, Tiny Lights

We know everybody can use some sparkle in the darker days leading up to the holidays, so here's an idea for knitters.

Order some Crazy Zauberball and start a collection of enchanting tiny socks to hang on a little tree. We scrounged the woods for branches with lichens that look like snow. Then we added an LED string of tiny lights for the sparkle.

Because of the color changes in Crazy Zauberball, each sock that you knit will be different. We suggest rewinding into smaller balls that so you can control which color you use for the cuff or heel or toe. A 100 gram ball will give you an assortment of tiny socks.

We ship every Tuesday and Thursday.

Cast on 36 stitches on three needles.

Knit a cuff for an inch or so.

Knit the leg as long as you want it.

Set aside 18 stitches for the instep.

Knit a heel flap down the remaining 18 stitches.

Turn the heel, pick up along the heel flap,

and knit two gussets to get back to 18 stitches.

Bring the 18 instep stitches back on the needles.

Knit the foot as long as you want it.

Knit a toe.
