Our contest for the fifth annual Miss.Africa Digital Seed-Fund has come to an end, and the winners have been selected. We want to thank everyone who participated in the just Competition for being seen by the pioneering Miss.Africa Digital, a DCA Digital Academy Pan-African program of DotConnectAfrica (DCA) Trust.

Miss.Africa Digital is delighted to announce the winners who won the 5th annual Seed fund competition.

The 2022 Grand Prize Winner of the Prestigious Miss.Africa Digital Seed-Fund award is BSG and Technologies CPS, South Africa. Technovation Girls of Zimbabwe and Authentic family Organization AFOR, from Rwanda, are both winners in the Second category prize.

You made aim and determination to win the competition, and you finally won.

Miss.Africa Digital wishes you good luck with what's to come. The Women-In-Tech seed fund award is now in its fifth year and offers grants to support women and girls in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields to launch or expand their own initiatives that will increase their digital opportunities in tech-related training, jobs, and leadership roles.

The program has now been in 15 African Nations and has impacted over 10,000 women and girls, including the youth under DCA Corporate Boot Camp sponsored by the DCA Academy.
The pioneering Miss.Africa Digital Program is a gender-focused program targeted mainly at female youth audiences in Africa to increase their personal involvement in early technology use and adoption with a view to improving their digital self-awareness and empowerment, and bridging the economic divide through employment and/or entrepreneurship.
 
It is one of the central pillars of DotConnectAfrica Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to attract sizable women and girls demographic of Internet users in Africa in complementary gender development initiatives that improve lives through digital inclusion.
 
Led by the DCA Academy, the Miss.Africa Digital also announced the prestigious annual Seed Fund program in Africa that provides grants to support women and girls in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields to launch or expand their own initiatives that will increase their digital opportunities in IoTs, Mobile Internet, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, and leadership roles. The Seed Fund program is interested in learning about successful activities currently supporting women and girls in STEM through this effort, and identifying how we might support scalability and their impacts. The program has now been in 15 African nations and has impacted over 10,000 women and girls, including the youth, under DCA Corporate Boot Camp sponsored by the DCA Academy.
