Summer Ministry Report
We are writing to thank YOU, the most dedicated, bold, faith-led people who gave your hearts and hands in service to Jesus this summer! Your love and support brought hope and confidence to others who needed to know Christ and His grace and truth.

Every time we take a step of faith, keeping our eyes fixed on who God is and who He has called us to be, we grow closer to Him so that we can hear His voice more clearly and be made stronger for His purposes.
Special Thanks
to our summer 'mission trip' churches and groups:

Lifepoint Church/O'Fallon, Missouri (Eric Darst)
Higher Ground Church/Columbia, Missouri (Adam Snell and Charlie Marshman)
Lifespring Community Church/St. Peters, Missouri (Greg Cranston)
Son Valley Youth Ranch/Canton, Missouri (Dona Stansbery)
First Baptist Church of Wright City, Missouri (Chad Hodges)

A number of children accepted Jesus as the Savior and Lord of their life! Some surrendered their life to Him for the first time, others recommitted after hearing and seeing the Word lived out in the lives of our faithful camp workers. And over 100 Bibles were given to campers who did not have one! A few highlights:

  • 224 people served in a part-time or full-time capacity.
  • 424 campers attended camp.
  • 105 campers were transported by STR or church groups.
  • 183 campers attended camp at reduced or no cost to them.

A strong foundation is essential for many things in life, including relationships. Our horse camps provided the solid foundation it takes to be a skilled, safe rider, while building a relationship of trust and respect with the horse. Those same attributes were carried over in our daily devotionals as we learned more about how we can strengthen our relationship with Jesus.

Discipleship was the key in our three summer horse camps for youth ages 8-16. Our first overnight camp (for the older group) was a huge success! All these camps reached full capacity this summer.

In our 'off' weeks, we hosted 28 children from Urban Reach STL and 12 children/young adults from LIFT Ministries.

We are believing that the seeds that God gave us and we gave back to Him by planting them in the good soil of teachable hearts will yield a bountiful harvest in our lives and the lives of others. We know that His love for us never ends. As we surrender each day to Him, He will do more than we can ask, think, or imagine.

Although camp has ended for this summer, the freedom and victory found in Christ during those days of sunshine (or rain) give us the power to live out His love during the autumn and winter seasons, looking forward to the budding of spring.
'Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.' (Colossians 3:15-17)

Looking forward to continuing to walk with you as fellow servants in Christ.
What’s Next?

Circle Up (Fri, Sep 20)
This group is for current STR volunteers and friends (ages 14-25+) who are interested in being plugged in through the school year. Join us monthly at Strong Tower Ranch for fun group activities and of course, great food (plan to share)! Grow into the leader you were created to be!

Our next Circle Up meeting is Friday, September 20. Meet at the lake from 6:30-9:30 pm. We'll work on STR's float for the Strassenbash parade the next day. Use the button below to RSVP for this fun activity!
Strassenbash/Wright City (Sat, Sep 21)
To share the vision of Strong Tower Ranch in the local community, we will have a booth at the Wright City Strassenbash event. It would be great to have some volunteers in their STR shirts. Anyone who would like to help by manning the booth for a couple of hours, please let us know using the button below.
