SES Parent Social!

Save this year's South Social date: Saturday 9/30, 6-10 p.m. at the Range Bar & Grille. Expect a FUN night of golf, music, appetizers, raffles, and a cash bar. This will be a private event for South parents and caregivers only. So, lock down your child care, don’t put away your golf clubs just yet, and STAY TUNED for the evening theme: you are bound to SALSA

Tickets to go on sale in the coming weeks. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor for this event, please contact Hilary Garzarelli or Loren McGrath for a list of sponsorship opportunities.

Join the SES PTO!

The SES Parent Teacher Organization is an excellent way to become involved in our school community. The updated list of remaining chair positions for the 2023/24 school year are:

Go Green:

Seeking a chair for this committee to raise recycling awareness and education at SES. Past initiatives include:

  • Recycling markers, pens, pencils, etc.
  • Paper recycling (Feel free to use our Abitibi bin in the bus loop for your household paper recycling. This relieves trash from our Transfer Station and benefits our school financially!)
  • Recycling bins in the cafeteria teach students how to recycle and compost
  • Reusable lunch bags to cut down on the use of plastic bags

School Council Representatives:

We seek two PTO School Council Representatives at SES, each with a two-year term. The School Council is responsible for developing an annual school improvement plan: this ranges from reviewing the education goals/needs of students to analyzing the annual school building budget. Meetings are held monthly with SES administration, our two parent representatives, two teacher representatives, a community representative, and our school committee liaison. This is an excellent way to get to know the administration!

Email Amy Gredler and Victoria Savio to get involved!
