Our move to 76 Sherman Rd is almost upon us! Within a few days, we will begin our transition to our new space at the Center for Transformative Spirituality on the beautiful campus of Hartford International University for Religion & Peace. The anticipation of the countless possibilities that await us in our new home fills us with excitement. Yet as we move into this next chapter, we are ever aware of the bittersweet nature of this transition as we say goodbye to Holy Family, our cherished home for almost 14 years. We will miss the special gifts and the comforting sense of familiarity it provided us over the years. 

Here are some details about our transition and ways you can get involved in truly making this house our home. 

Moving Day! 

On Friday, August 4 we welcome anyone who would like to come to 76 Sherman St. from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm to help us unpack and get settled or just explore our new space. We’ll have snacks!  



“Bridging Ceremony – A Time to Honor Our Past and Midwife Our Future” 

Save the date – Saturday, September 9, 2023 – for a time to offer heartfelt gratitude for our years at Holy Family and bestow blessings on our new home. The day will begin at Holy Family in Anam Cara at 11:00 am where we will share a sacred space to share cherished memories and engage in rituals of gratitude. Then we will gather at 76 Sherman St, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, to offer mindful blessings on our new space and imbue the space with the spirit and energy of the people who make up the Spiritual Life Center. Afterward, we will share refreshments and fellowship or walk the labyrinth. (Yes, there is a labyrinth located right behind our new location.) A special thanks to Lisa Hudkins and Sharon Champagne for leading this deeply meaningful effort!
