2019 COMMERCIAL DIVISION MID-YEAR UPDATE!
It is already August 2019 and the commercial division has been extremely busy. We started the year by hosting an exciting January Installation event of new officers and directors for STLCR, CCIM, CREW, and the SIOR organizations at the St. Louis Hilton Frontenac with about 100 members in attendance. It is an honor to collaborate with these commercial organizations throughout the year with member networking events and opportunities. In April, we celebrated the 6 th Annual Heavy Hitters Awards Ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton, Missouri, recognizing the top commercial practitioners’ 2018 transactions.

The 2020 nominations and elections process for Commercial leadership began in June and the new officers and directors have been approved. See the "2020 Commercial Division Leadership Announcement" below.

Our association resource departments are ever constant in improving processes and systems for St. Louis REALTORS ® ’ members. Risk Management continues review of the Commercial contracts, leases, and forms. Members can be assured that they are kept up to date on the latest legislative and government news affecting the commercial real estate industry by our Governmental Affairs group. Professional Development is gearing up for the 2020 licensing renewal year with interesting classes and instructors. Our Marketing & Communications Department keeps all members informed with the St. Louis REALTORS ® website and social media. And, St. Louis Commercial Data Systems – Catylist successfully continues to build its member subscriber base allowing for more commercial data inventory listings in the system.

We are also planning a "Commercial Connections" breakfast program for new members and a fall tour at the newly renovated Hotel St. Louis. So be watching the website and your emails for upcoming event information.

The Commercial Division is always looking for ways to improve your member experience and would like to hear from you with any suggestions or ideas. Please feel free to reach out to me personally, or any member of the Commercial Board of Directors; Director Commercial Services, Margo Colestock; or Chief Executive Officer, Dan Sale. As always, we appreciate your confidence in your Association and we will continue to work hard to protect the integrity of our business.

KEEP UP YOUR CATYLIST LISTINGS!
We are proud that we have built a sizeable listing inventory of current commercial listings from all of the commercial subscribers. Investors, business owners, tenants, facility managers, and developers all have access to search your STLCDS listings and inquire directly on details about your for sale or for lease opportunities.

The accuracy of the listing data helps continue to build value. This member benefit helps St. Louis area commercial practitioners better serve their clients. Let's keep it accurate by updating listings regularly. Catylist will also enter listing changes for you. You can email Catylist at: stl@catylist.com. If you need additional information, or you would like a Catylist demonstration, contact Al Suguitan at: Al.Suguitan@stlcds.com or 314-576-0033.
