Your Art Deserves the Spotlight — Student Art Show Entries Now Open!
Enter Lincoln’s Annual Student Art Show by April 16th!
Ready to share your creativity with campus? You’re invited to participate in Lincoln’s Annual Student Art Show, open to all students. Whether you’re an art major, minor, or simply love creating, this is your opportunity to showcase your work, gain recognition, and compete for cash prizes and certificate awards.
Art Show Details:
📅 Exhibition Dates: April 24 – May 8, 2026, plus special showing during Commencement exercises on May 9, 2026
đź•™ Exhibition Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. (M-F)
đź“Ť Location: Dorothy E. Steward Art Gallery, Richardson Fine Arts Center
🎉 Awards & Reception: Friday, April 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
Requirements:
✔️Original work only
✔️Completed within the last 2 years
✔️Not submitted or shown in previous LU annual student art exhibits
✔️Mat and frame all two-dimensional work and attach appropriate hangers
✔️ Label the back of your work with:
- Your Name
- Title of Work
- Medium
- Size
Award Details:
An artist from outside LU will judge the artworks. Awards will be given for the following:

Best of Show: a purchase award of $250 with a plaque and media recognition

Judges Merit: up to eight (8) awards, each receiving a certificate, media recognition and $50 check
-
Honorable Mention: up to twelve (12) awards, each receiving a certificate and media recognition
- Additional awards possible
Drop-off Times:
📅 Wednesday, April 15 – 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
📅 Thursday, April 16 – 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Final deadline – no work accepted after 1 p.m.)
