🇺🇸 Happy July from Amy Art Gallery + Studio!
| | |
Dear Friends,
Happy Fourth of July! As we celebrate our nation's independence, I'm reminded that art has a unique way of becoming part of our lives, our homes, and our celebrations. Seeing my patriotic The Girls sculptures become part of a collector's home this season is a heartfelt reminder of the joy and connection that art creates. I hope your holiday is filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and time to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you.
As summer unfolds, I look forward to welcoming you back to the gallery for another morning of art, conversation, and community. Here at Amy Art Gallery + Studio, we're excited to continue our Morning Art Talks series with a fascinating presentation this month. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the many ways art enriches our lives.

Morning Art Talks with Peggy Van Witt
We're delighted to welcome Peggy Van Witt, a third-generation fine art conservator, Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation, and founder of Van Witt Fine Art Conservation in Naples on Saturday, July 25 at 10:30 am.
Peggy's studio specializes in museum-standard conservation of paintings, sculptures, works on paper, textiles, frames, and decorative objects. During her presentation, she'll share the remarkable process of preserving and restoring artwork, explain what conservation really involves, and answer your questions along the way. Whether you're a collector, an art enthusiast, or simply curious about what goes into preserving treasured works of art, this is a presentation you won't want to miss.
| |
Interactive Q&A: Bring a piece of art if you would like Peggy to assess it from a conservation point of view. The presentation will be accessible, visual, and informative for collectors, artists, designers, and anyone interested in the care and preservation of fine art.
