As-Salamu’alaykum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother in Islam and the father of Adam Chekour, Mohammed Chekour.
May Allah, the Most Merciful, grant Mohammed Chekour His boundless mercy and forgiveness. May He bless him with a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, the highest level of paradise, and grant him eternal peace and happiness. May Allah grant his family patience and strength, especially our beloved community member and volunteer Adam Chekour during this difficult time. Ameen.
“Mohammed Chekour was a loving father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who always cared for his family. He worked hard all his life but never forgot Allah and his “Din.” He lived a blessed, modest, and purposeful life to see his 91 years reached this summer, surrounded by his caring family and loved ones. He was very generous, caring, and considerate of other people. So many people testify, enjoying his company and learning from his wisdom. I, for one, learned so much from him and will definitely miss him. May Allah reward him for his “ibada,” generosity, and good deeds. May Allah make him one of his companions on the day of the judgment. May Allah grant me and my family courage and solace during this challenging period. Please take good care of your parents while they are alive, and always visit them and check on them.” - Adam Chekour
Remember that the bonds of brotherhood in Islam extend beyond this world, and our prayers and thoughts are with the family during their time of grief.
Please remember Mohammed Chekour in your duas.
Please make dua that Allah SWT grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest levels of paradise, and grant patience to the family. Jazakum Allah Khair
