TUES, NOV 11 • 1PM & 7PM
Rialto Cinemas, Sebastopol
Special Q&A with Producer Lisa Brenner after each screening.
"The movie is a celebration of love and family: that love is what makes family, both chosen and the one we were born into. The movie is also about Unity: how we may be related to or actually BE the 'other:' The other culture, race or religion that we do not identify with. It blows the lid off separation and division."
-Lisa Brenner, Producer/writer/actor

TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
SUN, NOV 9 • 3 - 5 PM
Ner Shalom, Cotati & Online (Via Zoom)
Join us as we gather in community for Transgender Day of Remembrance in collaboration with Celebrate Love. This is a time to honor the lives of transgender people lost to violence, especially trans women of color who continue to be most at risk.
Our gathering will be a space of remembrance, reflection, and resilience. The names of those we’ve lost will be read aloud by Athena Rowan Gomez. We will spend time uplifting voices and stories of courage, as well as sharing our collective vision of a kinder world through listening, discussion, music, and community ritual. Together we remember, as we dream of a future where all trans lives are celebrated, and all people are safe.
This event is free and open to all. Sponsored by the Ner Shalom Tzedek committee.
Light refreshments will be provided

"COEXISTANCE, MY ASS!"
Sneak with Q&A with Director Amber Fares, comedian Nato Green, and writer Adam Mansbach, moderated by Dawn Valadez!
SUN, NOV 9 • 2 - 4:30 PM
Roxie Theater, San Francisco
COEXISTENCE, MY ASS! follows activist-comedian Noam Shuster Eliassi as she creates a comedy show by the same name. Shot over five tumultuous years, the film traces Noam’s personal, professional and political journey in tandem with the region’s steady deterioration. Raised in a bilingual Israeli-Palestinian village — the only intentionally integrated community in the country — Noam grows disillusioned with traditional peace activism. She pivots to stand-up and quickly attracts attention across the Middle East. But as her star rises, everything around her falls apart. With biting satire, Noam pushes her audiences to face difficult truths that aren’t always funny but do remind us that another reality is possible.
More showtimes soon: Starting Fri, Nov. 14!
