Ellie Osburn
Preschool/PreK PM Aide
I am a parishioner at St. Pius X, living in Lynnwood with my husband and 3 of our 5 kids. This summer, we explored Italy! I co-coordinate the Adoration Chapel and teach Faith Formation on Monday nights. On Tuesdays, I volunteer with the Dudes & Dolls square dance club at Cedar Valley Grange. Every other Friday, my 17-year-old daughter and I decorate the Grange for our dances—it's a lot of fun! I was born on Long Island, NY, and attended Rochester Institute of Technology. As a teen, I loved the movie Arthur and even worked in a mansion where it was filmed!

Kelsey Kirkpatrick - Miss K
Intervention Specialist
I am so excited to be joining the St. Pius community. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2022 with degrees in Elementary Education and Human Development. I have had experience working with students in grades Kindergarten to 8th grade in various roles. I enjoy being outside soaking in sunshine and cooking for others. This summer I started a little garden and I am excited to continue to grow it. At St. Pius, I am looking forward to cheering on the young learners and getting to know the community!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Thank you to all the parents who came to the Parent Club Meeting last week! I did a quick tutorial on how to log your miscellaneous volunteer hours you have worked. This will be the new way to log your hours that are NOT specific to any event you sign up for. If you sign up for an event, your hours will automatically be logged when you check in for the event.
You can find the “SignUp” link on our school website: stpx.org under the Volunteer page. Click the button that says “choose a spot on SignUp” . Here you are able to log your hours per month or sign up for future volunteer events! Remember if you are logging past miscellaneous hours, each “spot” is equal to one hour worked, so please adjust the hours appropriately and leave an explanation of the hours worked in the comment area.
Please reach out to me at volunteercoord@stpx.org if you have any questions. I am also willing to meet you at school and help you in person!
Spots for "Talent Show", and "Book Fair" are events happening this week that need more volunteer help. Please follow the link below to sign up for an event if you can!
Thank you,
Tina Acevedo (206) 228-8462
