USTA KY BOARD PRESIDENT SHOUT OUT

Kentucky has 7 teams that have won at the USTA Southern Sectionals! Southern is a very difficult region and I am thrilled for these teams as they are headed to play for a National Title!

And as we head into the 4th quarter, don't forget Raise a Racquet!

Get out and play and live another day!

COURT ADVOCACY

It's time to get loud and support the game we love! Many communities across the state are losing their courts to other court sports or neglect! With tennis growth, we need these courts! Please consider joining us to advocate for courts in your community!

TURF WAR IS ESCALATING

NEW LEVEL 5

Represent Kentucky in the first ever USTA Southern Regional Championships! Battle it out vs two other states and bring home the title for Team Kentucky! This is a mixed dominant duo tournament. The top 4 mixed duos from each state will be selected in 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s. Both players must be from Kentucky to enter. Tournament selections will be made using the mixed duo’s ranking on the Combined National Standing List. Every match you play will count towards the state’s overall team points. Help Team Kentucky take home the 1st Annual USTA Southern Regional Team Championships as we take on Tennessee and Arkansas! Questions, contact LJ Allara at lallara@ustaky.com or 502-491-1290.

ASK USTA KENTUCKY

Have questions, we have answers! Just ask and remember there is never a bad question.

Ask USTA Ky

RECENT QUESTION: I was serving in my doubles match last weekend, and on one of my serves, the receiver called the ball out, but their partner corrected them and said it was in. What do we do when this happens?

ANSWER: The serving team wins the point because the opposing team should give them the benefit of the doubt.
