Try our Storybook Sundae!

Our special recipe for choosing a book makes reading as delicious and fun as eating ice cream on a hot summer's day! It was created by Rochambeau children's librarian and "chef," Ms. Sammi. "Reading is sweetest when kids are empowered to select their own books," explains Sammi (pictured below, with young readers). "Our Storybook Sundaes provide even our smallest readers with the tools they need to order exactly the book they want!

At the conclusion of the summer reading program, kids will celebrate their reading successes by creating real sundaes at a real ice cream social.
