Gift Card Scams
Be on your guard. Gift card scams are rampant during the holidays. Your business could be a victim or you personally can be a victim. Verify. Verify. Verify. Contact the chamber office if you do not have the list of what to watch for already.
Gold Medal Giving was a huge success. Olympic Gold Medal winner, Ryan Crouser, presented the sports equipment to the non-profits: My Fathers House, Salvation Army Gresham Corps, and Gresham-Barlow Youth Baseball/Softball. The community generously donated children's sports equipment valued at over $4,000 to the Gold Medal Giving campaign. Gresham Ford, shown upper left, was the Travel Sponsor making it possible for Ryan to attend the event. Thank you Gresham community.
The Gresham Area Chamber helped Ryan Crouser celebrate his 29th birthday (Dec. 18th) with a Gold Medal Cake from Tany’s Bakery.  The cake was cut and enjoyed by all of those that participated in the Gold Medal Giving presentation on Monday.

Tips, Tools, & Press Releases
Did you know hospice focuses on comfort care not curative care? Hospice services help with pain management and symptom control. When patients feel comfortable, they are able to spend more quality time with those most important to them.
Want to grow your following on social media? One word - stories! I know that seems very overwhelming, but stories help you connect in such an impactful way. Start by sharing your own posts to your stories and then gradually start using stickers and music. It doesn't have to be perfect, just have fun!
Share your pearls of wisdom?
To post a tip, email the details to gacc@greshamchamber.org. Please remember to keep it to 40 words or less.
