Brian York, President Elect
Meet your President-Elect. Brian York, Clackamas County Bank, was elected Chamber Board President Elect. Both Leslie Parker, HealthBenefits411 (President) and Brian take office starting January 1st. Al Nodarse, BBSI, was reelected for his second term as Treasurer. Great leadership.
Gold Metal Giving
Athletic Equipment for Young People
Ryan Crouser
Ryan Crouser, two-time gold medal winner, wants to help kids start down a gold medal path. He will be with us Monday, Dec. 20th to make this happen. Watch for the opportunities, starting December 1st. Donate new and gently loved kids athletic equipment to the locations listed on the chamber website and in this newsletter.
GET CREATIVE WITH CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.
The “perfect” gift might be on one of the many tankers and container ships in the waters off Long Beach. While our local businesses wait for the log jam to break up, they still have merchandise on their shelves. Be creative. Shop local at someplace new like the Gresham Senior Center. Check out their gift shop or purchase line dancing lessons while there. Gift shops can also be found at Nancy’s Floral Inc., Heidi’s of Gresham, and Café Delirium.  Get Creative and fill the stockings with unique gift ideas…bought locally (of course).

TRAVEL OREGON
Food-Lover’s Guide to the Eugene Area

With its colorful murals, urban greenery and countless culinary delights, the Eugene area is a phenomenal setting for a food crawl — or, even better, a pedal-powered foodie tour de Eugene. As one of the country’s most bike-friendly cities, Eugene is best enjoyed from behind a set of handlebars, so cyclists can cover the full region’s worth of tasting rooms and restaurants while also absorbing the area’s natural beauty.
