This year reflected the strength of our people and the progress we made together. Aiken Democrats didn’t sit back — we moved. We organized, we showed up, and we earned real wins in one of the toughest political climates in the state.
We flipped two seats by staying disciplined, building relationships, and keeping volunteers engaged all year. Volunteers made calls, knocked on doors, registered voters, attended meetings, and helped build the foundation we need for 2026.
We also stepped up when democracy was under pressure. From No Kings to Good Trouble, we showed that Aiken will not stay silent while rights and freedoms are attacked. Our actions were peaceful, strategic, and grounded in shared values.
And our commitment extended beyond politics. Volunteers fed the homeless, donated thousands of school supplies, and supported neighbors through direct, hands-on care. Service wasn’t a slogan — it was action.
None of this would have been possible without the people who give their time, energy, and heart. Every volunteer, donor, and candidate strengthened our community this year.
A special thank you goes to Lessie and William Price, whose extraordinary generosity anchors our work. Offering their building as our home base is an incredible gift — and this year, they went even further. A new roof, foundation repairs, and HVAC upgrades were investments made not for recognition, but because they believe in this community and want us to have a safe, stable place to serve. We are deeply grateful.
This year showed what people-powered progress looks like in Aiken. As we move into 2026, we carry forward the momentum you helped create and a stronger foundation than ever.
Thank you for standing with us.
Here’s to a strong and hopeful new year.
