Important News - Please Read!
① COVID Vaccine Info and Bonuses

With the Delta Variant, it's very worrying how sick unvaccinated individuals are getting. With the COVID vaccine, people can still contract COVID, however the symptoms are far less extreme. Evidence is showing that the rates of hospitalizations due to COVID are extremely lower for individuals that are fully vaccinated.

Connected Home Care values the health and safety of our caregivers. If you are still unvaccinated, we strongly encourage you to consider getting the vaccine. If you are having trouble booking a vaccine appointment, you can visit our resources page HERE to get some more information on how and where to book your appointment. You can also reach out to your HR Generalist if you are needing further assistance.

As a reminder, Connected Home Care is offering a one-time $50 vaccine bonus for all newly vaccinated caregivers. Please be sure to send your vaccine cards to your HR Generalist.
② Refer a friend today!

Don't forget that Connected Home Care offers a referral bonus for current employees! If you refer someone that is hired, you could be eligible to to earn a $100 referral bonus!! Once the person that you refer has worked for 60 days and a total of 50 hours, you will receive your bonus! Be sure to mention to your friends and family that Connected also offers lots of FREE training!

July Caregiver Communications Raffle!

July's raffle winner will receive four tickets (2 adults, 2 children) to the Zoo! The winner can choose the date they would like to go as well as which Zoo they would like to attend. Choices are between the Stone Zoo and the Franklin Park Zoo!
CONGRATULATIONS to the winner for our June Caregiver Communications Raffle - Carline Michel! Carline won 4 tickets to the New England Aquarium in Boston! We had 1,461 entries into June's raffle.

We are still missing photos for some caregivers!
We are updating our system and want to make sure that we have the most current photo for all employees and that you have a current Employee ID Badge. Please send us a clear photo of yourself so that we can get a new badge if you don't have one. Please be assured that your photo will never be used without your permission.

When considering a photo to send, please be sure that the picture is recent and of you looking at the camera. Usually against a blank background and good lighting works best. Please do not send pictures with filters on them as we use these pictures to identify caregivers when in the field.
Homemaking Reminders!

As a reminder, there are certain things that we should and should not be doing for homemaking tasks. A few DOs and DON'Ts are listed below.

Please note that if you find yourself in a situation where something needs to be cleaned, but looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time, reach out to the office to let them know.
  • Empty waste baskets and bring out trash at the end of your shift.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and put away clothing and linens
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and wet or dry mop floors.
  • Clean stove top and outside of oven
  • Clean outside of refrigerator
  • Walk and/or clean up after pets
  • Take down or hang up curtains
  • Wash walls, woodwork (including baseboards), or windows
  • Clean inside of oven
  • Clean inside of refrigerator

In-Service Bonus Coming Soon!

Connected Home Care will be offering a special in-service training that will allow you to earn a bonus once it's complete! Stay tuned for more details!

These in-services were assigned to all caregivers who's first names start with A-E. All caregivers in this group will have until 8/30/2021 to complete in-services on In The Know.
