Chaos I is a seven-ton kinetic sculpture by Swiss artist Jean Tinguely, and at 30 feet tall, it is the largest of his works in the United States. Located in The Commons in downtown Columbus, and installed in 1974, this intricate piece blends art and engineering, with gears and wheels that move in unpredictable, mesmerizing patterns.
