Good morning.
As you may have heard, the remains of Ran Gvili—the final Israeli hostage—have been returned to Israel for a proper burial after 843 days. As a community, we hold this moment with profound grief and deep gratitude: gratitude that Ran can finally be laid to rest among his people, and heartbreak that he—and so many others—did not return home alive.
In this moment, we stand together to mark the completion of a sacred and painful mission: the return of all 255 hostages, the living and the dead. Read on for a message and video from our community Shlicha Hila. Thank you to our member organization StandWithUs for sharing the above animation!
