This keyboard lockup challenge at startup has been an issue since late October when a Microsoft Windows Update resulted in this annoying issue for many customers. While Microsoft is still working on a fix to be pushed out in a future patch release, many are just too tired of waiting for it.
Through my research and testing, I found that this adjustment will stop the lockup from happening in the first place. I am including a step by step walk through in this 1+ minute video, so that you can resolve it on your own. Watch it and follow along: to disable Fast Startup on your Windows computer:
