Join us at the Mural La Virgen de Guadalupe in East Los Angeles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, for the 29th Annual Mujeres de Paz Candlelight Vigil.

Together, we will walk in solidarity to remember and honor the lives forever changed by domestic violence. With each step, we carry the stories of loved ones we have lost, stand beside survivors, and lift up a shared hope for a future where every person can live free from violence.

Our walk will conclude at the East Los Angeles College Performing Arts Center Courtyard, where we will come together in ceremony to share stories, honor our loved ones, and remember those we carry in our hearts. Memorials placed on the Día de los Muertos altar will offer a space to celebrate their lives, hold their memories close, and ensure they are never forgotten.

We invite you to be part of this special evening of remembrance, healing, love, and community. Your presence matters. Together, we can create a circle of support for those who have been touched by domestic violence and help build a safer, more compassionate future for generations to come.

Let’s stand together this October—and every month—to remember, to support, and to remind one another that no one has to walk alone.
