Thank you to all who attended the February virtual meeting, we had 26 attendees.
Sandy Potter with Texas Health shared with us ways to achieve wellness and getting back to normal or baseline and stated normal is different for everyone. Sandy shared about the leading causes of stress and gave us tools to improve our stress levels. Meditation, deep breathing, sleep, exercise, finding new ways to spend time with friends, finding balance, faith and volunteering.

Professional Seminar Committee Chair Shelly Scazzero, Hudson Oaks, reported on the survey responses for the Professional Seminar which is typically in April. In consideration of membership responses the Professional Seminar will now be held on our July 14th business meeting date. More details will follow as we get closer to the event.
Legislative Committee Chair Lisa Cabrera, Krum, and Committee member Leticia Vacek, Trophy Club, reported on city-related bills coming before the legislation for consideration and noted a few bills to keep our eyes on.
