March Repair Cafe News

The Valentine's Day Rhinebeck Repair cafe was very much a labor of love and was dedicated to our colleague, cafe organizer and fixer Timo Nuhn, who passed away suddenly last October. Special thanks to all who pitched in to make it possible, including the organizers of the Red Hook, Hyde Park and Saugerties Repair Cafes and RCHV's sponsor, Sustainable Hudson Valley.

Slowly the weather gets a little lighter and the days a little brighter...here are your March Repair Cafes to spread a little more sunshine! Ellenville returns to a new location this Saturday, Castleton-on-Hudson returns on 3/14 after many years off, Albany's in a new location on Saturday the 21st and we debut a new cafe in Eastchester which, perhaps confusingly, is a town in Westchester.

PLEASE NOTE: Welding is always subject to heavy precipitation.

RCHV IN THE NEWS

"Zipper Queen" Michelle Elise (right) reminisced about her fave Repair Cafe fix on NPR and it was this one from a past Kingston Repair Cafe. This photo shows just how much was saved from the landfill with only 3 small zipper boxes.
