Zauberball Crazy Cotton in DK weight makes up into granny squares that are a delight. I used a 3.5 mm hook for the sample you see in the photo. I'm planning to crochet a second square and put them together for a practical potholder or big coaster for something hot.

I had to keep my tension looser since cotton does not have the give that you'll find with other fibers.

Do take a look at that luscious blend of color that's developing without have to change balls or work in ends. Very nice.
