Clarification from 10.26 Network Briefing:
Earlier this month you received a Briefing outlining how best to prioritize year-end patient care. One of our recommendations should have read as follows:

Consider purchasing a POC fingerstick HgbA1c machine for your office.
There are inexpensive POC HgbA1c machines that are FDA approved for office use (some for both home and office use) but we recommend only using these in the office since the home Hgba1c measure would not satisfy the payer quality requirement.

By December 31: Complete Wellforce Diversity and Cultural Competence Module
At Wellforce, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is central to how we function as an organization and key to our long-term sustainability. The Wellforce Center for DEI is excited to offer a new 20 minute DEI module – Diversity and Cultural Competence – which reviews our system vision; dimensions of diversity; unconscious bias; the PAUSE model; cultural competence, respect, and humility; and DEI resources. This learning opportunity is open to any interested physician or member of our Network.

Wellforce Employees are required to complete this module by December 31, 2021. To get started, please click the image below. Once completed, you will be asked to confirm your completion and submit your name through a Survey Monkey link. This is an important step to ensure you are in compliance.

The Wellforce Clinically Integrated Network is a distinctively different population health enterprise and value-based care contracting entity. It comprises 2,300 primary care and specialist physicians and advanced practice clinicians, in private and employed practices, working in community and hospital settings. The Network’s purpose is to build healthier communities and to create healthy, rewarding experiences for our participating physicians and care teams. The Network was launched in July 2021 by building upon the legacies of two long-standing, high-performing organizations – Lowell General Physician Hospital Organization and New England Quality Care Alliance (NEQCA).
