Simple advice on how you can avoid the ransomware attack that's been in the news recently
By now you've probably heard or read about a widespread ransomware attack that has affected millions of computers since late last week. Computer Techs customers that subscribe to our Computer Maintenance Plan don't need to worry about it because subscribers have the Windows Update that was released 2 months ago that patches the vulnerability which spreads the worm.
The ransomware is also spread through "phishing" emails that appear to come from businesses or acquaintances that at some point may ask you to login to your email or other online account.
