Marana Data Center Ballot Referendum
Gains Momentum
Join over 2000 registered voters who have signed a petition for referendum to place the decision to build a data center in Marana at the next regular general election. Let voters decide what is best for the town.
Volunteer coordinators will be available at the Nanini Library (7300 N Shannon Rd., Tucson, AZ 85741) from 12-5pm today and tomorrow. They will assist anyone who wants to drop by and sign the petition themselves and will also have blank petition sheets for folks who want to help collect signatures.
They encourage folks to come and to bring a friend to sign as well!
Anyone who wants to double-check their voter registration, here's the link. The Nanini Library is also next door to the AZ Motor Vehicle Department, so if someone still needs to register, they can do so right next door!
Let the qualified electorate of the town vote for approval or rejection of a data center at the next regular general election.
