81 Years of Faith, Fellowship, and God's Faithfulness
π βHitherto hath the LORD helped us.β β 1 Samuel 7:12 (KJV)
π As we celebrate the 81st Church Anniversary of Brookland Union Baptist Church, we are reminded to pause and reflect on the goodness of God. For 81 years, His grace has sustained the church, His love has brought people together, and His faithfulness has continued through generations. ππ½
Every season of ministry tells a story. There have been prayers, sacrifices, joyful celebrations, challenges, and countless testimonies of God's goodness. Through it all, God has remained faithful. βοΈπ
This week's reflection invites us to look back with gratitude, appreciate those who helped build our church's legacy, and look forward with faith. As we honor the past, we must also consider how we can contribute to the future through our service, fellowship, kindness, and commitment to God's Word. π±

An 81st Church Anniversary is an opportunity to pause and reflect on God's goodness and the many blessings He has poured out over the years. βοΈπ
Through seasons of joy and challenges, God has remained faithful. The prayers of our elders, the dedication of our pastors and church leaders, the commitment of our members, and the service of those who came before us have helped build a legacy rooted in faith and love. π±
As we celebrate this special milestone, let us remember that the church is more than a building. It is a family of believers called to worship God, encourage one another, serve our community, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

coin drive. We trust that you have had a blessed and marvelous vacation during the
summer months.
Now that you are back, we would like you to use some of your left over coins and dollars for the coin drive. We are not opposed to accepting dollars. As you know, we use these funds to contribute to The Mary McCloud Bethune Day Academy across the street and Sasha Bruce Youth Works.
Please put your contributions in the basket in the rear of the church. Letβs continue to put our spare coins and dollars to work helping others.
Thank you and many blessings.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the pastors, ministers, bishops, elders, chaplains, and all clergy members who faithfully serve Your people. Thank You for the prayers they pray, the wisdom they share, and the encouragement they offer during difficult seasons. Strengthen them when they grow weary, give them peace when they feel overwhelmed, and renew their hearts when the demands of ministry become heavy. Bless their families, protect their health, and grant them wisdom as they lead. Help us not only to celebrate them during Clergy Appreciation Month but to pray for, encourage, and support them throughout the year. Teach us to serve others with humility, love, and faithfulness, reflecting the example of Jesus Christ in all that we do. In Jesus' name, Amen. πβοΈπ±
