Ethan is a second-year scout in Cub Scout Pack 22, which meets at Life Church in Smyrna. He’s passionate about the scouting program, enjoying the outdoor activities and opportunities to learn and experience new things.

St. Benedict's 13th Annual Fun Run: A Successful Community Celebration

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, St. Benedict's Episcopal School hosted its 13th Annual Fun Run, creating a vibrant community atmosphere despite the crisp fall weather. Participants of all ages came together—students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters—dressed in festive tie-dyed race shirts that showcased their Stinger spirit.

The event featured a variety of activities, including the Tot Trot for preschoolers, a one-mile student race, and a timed mile for adults and alumni. It was a wonderful morning filled with fun, camaraderie, and a celebration of our strong school community. Check out the article for highlights and photos from this exciting event!

As a reminder, all current students do not need a new admissions application for the 2025- 2026 school year, as they are enrolled continuously until graduation. We're excited to continue supporting your child's educational journey. Tuition and Fees Updates

The current tuition can be found on our website at stbs.org for the current year and will be updated on January 10, 2025. We’ve partnered with A.W.G Dewar Insurance to offer tuition insurance for added peace of mind. Spring 2025 Extended Care and Clubs

Registration for Spring semester Extended Care and Enrichment Clubs is now open! Registration must be completed no later than December 12, 2024, to be guaranteed a spot in the Stingers Squad program for Spring semester of 2025.

Additional information was provided to all families directly by email; if you did not receive it, please email stingerssquad@stbs.org.

Lost it? Found it!

The Lost & Found on the Main Campus is getting full! Please come by anytime during office hours to look for your missing items from Monday, November 11, 2024 to Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

We will place Lost and Found items outside the Main Campus front office for parents to access during morning and afternoon carpools (weather permitting). We have many jackets, sweaters, water bottles, and more, so please stop by!

After Wednesday, November 20, 2024 we will be donating all items. 

Thanksgiving Break Fun with Stingers Unplugged!

Friday, November 22, 2024, is an early dismissal day, and Stingers Unplugged will be available from dismissal until 4:00 P.M. Registration is open until November 19, 2024. If your student is signed up for aftercare on Fridays, you do not need to register. If your student is not signed up for aftercare on Fridays, please click here to sign up for Stingers Unplugged for November 30, 2024. Please note: on Friday, November 22, 2024, all students must be picked up by 4:00 P.M. (even if you are registered for 6:00 P.M. aftercare pickup on normal Fridays).

If you need care for your child on Monday and Tuesday, November 25-26, 2024 during Thanksgiving Break, register for Thanksgiving Break Stingers Unplugged! Registration is required for all students who attend these days, and will be open until November 19, 2024. Stingers Unplugged will be offered from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on these days, and a half-day option is available. You may register for just one day or both days of the break.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

There will be no aftercare on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to allow Stingers Squad staff to attend St. B’s faculty and staff holiday party.

Weekly Chapel Services

Chapel services for the 2024 - 2025 school year:

• 1st/2nd/3rd - Tuesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• 4th/5th - Wednesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• PK3/PK4/K - Wednesdays at 9:15 A.M.
• 6th/7th/8th - Thursdays at 8:20 A.M.

If you are a parent attending Chapel, please park at the Hive or South Campus.

For parents of PK/K students, we ask that you only attend when your child is celebrating a birthday or serving as a chapel helper. The younger children tend to be harder to separate at the end of the service. Thank you for your support. 

Yay Lunch!

Your October repeat orders from Yay end this week, so be sure to update your repeat orders.

Our November menu is now live, so you can make your selections now. Just head to our Lunch Calendar, choose your items, and select the "repeat" checkbox when you check out. Order before the deadline of Sunday at noon, or as late as 10:00 A.M. the day before for a .50 cent fee. The last day of November repeat orders will end on Friday, November 29, 2024. You will receive an email from Yay when December menus are live and ready for repeat orders.
