Stingers Squad Art Expo

A big thank you to our Stingers Squad, our dedicated extended care team, for organizing an outstanding Art Expo! Students proudly displayed their creative artwork and enjoyed delicious snacks while sharing special moments with their families. We deeply appreciate the hard work of our Stingers Squad staff in bringing this event to life and the St. Benedict’s community for their unwavering support!

Stingers Squad's Fall Festival

Save the Date for Stingers Squad's Fall Festival on Friday, October 25, 2024! The fun will begin around 3:00 P.M. for all ages. Stingers Squad is seeking parent volunteers to come help with the Festival beginning at 2:00 P.M. Click the button below to fill out the survey if you are able to volunteer!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Family conferences will occur on October 31, 2024 and November 1, 2024. Note that Stingers Squad does not offer childcare on these days.

There will be no aftercare on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 to allow Stingers Squad staff to attend St. B’s faculty and staff holiday party.

Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Art Class

During Hispanic Heritage Month, students in Fine Arts studied modern and contemporary artists. Middle School Faculty Member Maria Coles led students in their study of Beatriz Milhazes in fifth grade, Salvador Dalí in sixth grade, Amelia Peláez in seventh grade, and Favianna Rodriguez in eighth grade.

Weekly Chapel Services

Chapel services for the 2024 - 2025 school year:

• 1st/2nd/3rd - Tuesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• 4th/5th - Wednesdays at 8:20 A.M.
• PK3/PK4/K - Wednesdays at 9:15 A.M.
• 6th/7th/8th - Thursdays at 8:20 A.M.

If you are a parent attending Chapel, please park at the Hive or South Campus.

For parents of PK/K students, we ask that you only attend when your child is celebrating a birthday or serving as a chapel helper. The younger children tend to be harder to separate at the end of the service. Thank you for your support. 

GOAL Informational Session

You have an opportunity to make an impact on our school at no cost to you! Georgia taxpayers can receive a 100% state income tax credit for contributions to Georgia’s GOAL Scholarship Program, strengthening our school community.

Join us for a 30-minute informational session, Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 am, discussing the impact of this program on our school, and outlining potential federal deduction opportunities for business owners and individuals.

That's a Wrap

As we conclude our Fall season, we’d like to highlight our teams for their success this season. This year was our first year having TWO girls volleyball teams in the Fall. Both teams competed in our MAAC league and were a force to be reckoned with. We are excited to see this program continue to grow! Thank you to our families, coaches, and athletes for making a name for our teams!

Our boys and girls Cross Country did not disappoint! Our girls received three trophies this year, placing second and third in several races. Our boys received top three placements overall in several races. A highlight of our season was hosting our first cross country meet for St. Benedict’s. We partnered with Life University and had a great time inviting our other schools that compete in the MAAC. We can not wait to host again! HUGE shout out to PJ Protos and Ed Hopkins for making this event come to life.

Trunk-or-Treat

It's time again for the Annual Trunk-or-Treat event at St. Bs! Join us on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the main campus. 

We are looking for families and friends to volunteer to host a trunk and donate candy/treats! Let your "spooky" creativity shine by providing a fun and entertaining experience for the kiddos and passing out treats! A $100 gift card will be awarded to the best-decorated trunk!

Middle School Halloween Social

The PA will host the Middle School Halloween Social on October 25, 2024, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Smyrna Community Center.
