For more than two decades organizations have been lamenting about their inability to define a Return on Investment (ROI) for their risk management (ERM) efforts and programs. All that ends now.
From the first time that our systematized ERM solution was introduced in 2005, and several updates since then, we have been helping organizations to demonstrate ROI when they implement risk management practices.
The argument has been that it is not possible to show ROI on something that isn’t there, won’t happen or there is no logical way of knowing what the real impact would be if such an event were to happen. That is not the case.
By using the principles of design thinking, it is done and it is done credibly with verifiable measures.
The Phillips ROI Methodology, the most modern and comprehensive process for measuring ROI is used to evolve the Risk Delta System for ERM. It is used mostly for Strategic and Operational Risks, and all the sub-categories/classes of risk.
Financial risks will continue to be subject to numerous models and variables that do not parallel the requirements to mitigate strategic (external) and operational (internal) risks.
Familiarity with Design Thinking Principles is essential in creating the most effective ERM process that allows you to demonstrate an ROI. What is also essential is that a proper sequence is followed. If elements fall out of sequence it creates chaos in making sense of the ROI and of the ERM processes.
How to bring together the ROI and ERM Methodology will be presented in a one-hour webinar on Thursday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m. EDST
This is limited seating because we will be sharing methodology.
Recordings will not be available.
There will be time for a Q&A at the conclusion.
