WHAT TO EXPECT

Last year, nearly 150 guests gathered for a sold-out Celebration of Hope, raising almost $40,000 to support education, meals, and sponsorships for students in Haiti - including support for an incoming preschool class of 70 students.

The evening highlighted powerful stories from students and teachers who continue to serve as Good Samaritans in their communities, even amid ongoing instability and violence. Together, we celebrated resilience, compassion, and hope and recommitted ourselves to carrying forward Dr. Rodrigue Mortel’s legacy.

As we prepare to gather for A Celebration of Hope, we’re reflecting on the people and experiences that shaped this mission.

Hear from past travelers who share how Haiti left a lasting imprint on their lives - and why hope, once experienced, never fades.
