We want to make you aware of the recently announced USDA Local Agriculture Market Program (LAMP) grant suite. These grants include the Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP) and the Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP), especially the Turnkey grant tiers.

➡️Key Requirements:

• Deadline: June 5, 2026
• Match: Require a 25% match

🥕Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP):

Focused on direct-to-consumer marketing, such as farmers markets, CSAs, and roadside stands.

🚚Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP):

Focused on local food business enterprises that act as intermediaries, such as food hubs, wholesalers, and processors.

Both FMPP and LFPP have several tiers, with different goals, funding levels, and funding periods. 

🌱The Turnkey Grants (Recommended Entry Point):

If you are looking for a more streamlined entry point, the Turnkey options are excellent programs. We would love to support you in developing your application.

• Focus: Pre-defined marketing & promotion or recruitment & training
• Funding: $50,000 to $100,000
• Timeline: 24 months

🚜The “Big Picture” Grants - FMPP and LFPP:

These tiers require a very clear project roadmap. If you already have a well-developed plan, we would love to support you in developing your application.

• FMPP Capacity Building: 
• Focus: Improving market performance
• Funding: $50,000–$250,000
• Timeline: 36 months

• FMPP Community Development: 
• Focus: Large-scale training/assistance 
• Funding: $100,000–$500,000 
• Timeline: 36 months

• LFPP Planning:
• Focus: Feasibility studies and business plans 
• Funding: $25,000–$100,000 
• Timeline: 24 months

• LFPP Implementation:
• Focus: Building or expanding infrastructure
• Funding: $100,000–$500,000 
• Timeline: 36 months

If you aren’t ready for the June deadline, these grants will come up again next year, and we still want to hear from you! We are happy to start working with you now to develop ideas and build a strong foundation for next year’s LAMP cycle.
