WHAT WE ARE ASKING:
There are many children in our community who suffer from food insecurity. There are also many food pantries that help to alleviate this need. Some of the larger pantries receive an influx of donations but SmileUp! partners with some of the smaller pantries in order to serve those who may get missed through mainstream giving.
We would like to take the month of July to collect food and necessities in order to help stock some of these pantries. We are asking our army of volunteers to collect food & necessities so we can provide an abundance of assistance where it is needed the most.
The items donated will be divided amongst the following organizations:
STEP 1: Print out the mailbox flyers (two to a page, front & back), fill them out and put them on the mailbox flags throughout your neighborhood. If you do not have access to a printer, e-mail us with your mailing address and we will mail a set of 20 out to you.

STEP 2: Collect all your donations. Be sure to wear your SmileUp! teal and yellow when collecting! (ALL DONATIONS MUST BE NEW!)
STEP 3: Drop off donations at the following locations no later than July 20th:
- G. Cecil Pruett YMCA - Canton, GA
- UPS Store, 2295 Towne Lake Pkwy - Woodstock, GA

Hillside UMC, Rm. 1106 (July 21 between 2-4PM ONLY!) - Woodstock, GA
STEP 4: Help us sort and package all the donations on July 21st if you are available. Click here to sign up to sort.
Feel free to share this opportunity with your church groups, sports teams and school clubs. The more people we have collecting, the more kids we will be able to help!!!! Also, venture out to your local restaurants and places of business for donations...I'm sure your dentist would not mind donating a few toothbrushes!
We want this to be a family affair so get out there with your brothers and sisters, mom and dad, even the family dog...and get to work!
