Winona Family YMCA
KEEPING YOUR HEALTH IN MIND
Dear YMCA Community,

Out of an abundance of caution and the latest recommendations from the Governor and the CDC, the Winona Family YMCA has made the heartbreaking decision to suspend all events, programming and general operations effective Tuesday, March 17 at 5:00 p.m. . We will reassess by Monday, March 30.   This date may change depending on guidance from local, state and federal officials.

Effective immediately the following will be closed - pools, Kids Corner, fitness and aquatics classes, and all programming except for no school day childcare on March 17 until 5:00 p.m. for those enrolled. Please take anything you need from your lockers.

The Y's mission is to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. We are working with our staff to develop creative and engaging ways to stay involved with the Y virtually so that we may continue to serve our community.

In the meantime, we invite you to subscribe to the Y360 YouTube Channel for an expanding selection of fitness programs for adults and kids you can do at home.

The Winona Family YMCA has been here for the community for nearly 135 years. During this time of uncertainty, we are with you now and hope you will stay with us. We ask that you continue to invest in your membership so that we can resume our vital life-changing and life-saving programs at the Y. If you prefer to put your membership on hold, please contact Kelsey at [email protected]. We know your membership is meaningful to you and that meaning lies in the relationships you have built at the Y. Those relationships are based upon how much you care about our community and want everyone to have the opportunity to thrive – no matter what our world is facing. Thank you for joining us.

Please refer to our website and Facebook page for the latest information and updates as we navigate this unique and unprecedented situation.
Wishing you health and safety,
Janneke Sobeck | CEO
