Fall/Winter Appeal - sneak peek!

For over 130 years, Good Will-Hinckley has stood as a beacon of hope, providing a home and a helping hand to boys and girls facing challenges. Your gift of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or any amount will directly impact the lives of these deserving individuals.

What began as an act of kindness by George Walter Hinckley has blossomed into a legacy of support, nurturing, and empowerment. Now, as the end of this year approaches, I invite you to be a part of our mission by making a meaningful contribution.

I am reaching out to you, our compassionate community, to join hands in continuing this invaluable legacy. Thanks to your help, Good Will-Hinckley’s commitment to the welfare and growth of Maine’s children and young adults has only strengthened over time.

Our programs – each a testament to our founder’s vision – embrace diverse avenues of support. From the Glenn Stratton Learning Center, where students are not only educated but provided the tools to re-enter public-school life, to the College Step-Up & Transitions Program, dedicated to nurturing the unique potential of each youth. Our programs, with your support, continue to provide guidance, education, and unwavering support to our most vulnerable young people.

I am deeply proud of our holistic approach – providing not only education but also job readiness training, life skills development, and the formation of a supportive network for everyone in our College Step Up & Transitions Program. The Roundel Residential Program stands as a haven for adolescents, offering therapeutic care, counseling, and activities to address behavioral health challenges.

And let’s not forget the L.C. Bates Museum, a treasure trove of natural history, Maine’s cultural heritage, and the wonders of our environment. It stands as a testament to the diverse learning experiences offered to our community.

Today I turn to you to help ensure that our commitment to these vital programs remains steadfast. Your support means the world to everyone at Good Will-Hinckley, allowing us to continue providing a nurturing environment, guidance, and opportunities for our youth.

Your generosity will create a lasting impact, shaping the lives of those we serve. Together, let’s continue the Good Will Idea – providing a safe harbor and a pathway to a brighter future for Maine’s youth.

Please join me in making a difference. Your donation, no matter the size, carries immense significance in the lives of these young individuals.

Thank you for being a part of our shared mission.

With gratitude,

Gary Dugal
