100,000 REASONS TO CELEBRATE!
The Arkansas Hospice Foundation has been awarded a challenge grant of $100,000 by the Windgate Foundation designated for unrestricted program support for Arkansas Hospice. The funds will assist in operational costs to provide excellence in hospice and palliative care at a time of critical need to many individuals and their families in Arkansas.

Shannon Boshears, Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of Arkansas Hospice Foundation, said, “We’re incredibly excited and honored to partner with the Windgate Foundation and receive this grant opportunity that will benefit the mission and patients of Arkansas Hospice. As the state’s largest non-profit hospice organization, we rely on private funding to fulfill many needs when providing comfort to individuals when they are the most vulnerable.”

To kick-off the matching grant campaign, all funds raised for the upcoming Party at the Plaza event will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.

A flair for the artistic!
‌
Attendees, hosts, artists, and sponsors experienced a colorful afternoon on July 24th as renowned artists Steve Griffith and Vivian Noe-Griffith transformed their Conway home into an exquisite art gallery and showing.

Patti Cakes Bakery and Colonial Wine & Spirits graciously sponsored food and beverages, as attendees strolled through the many works of oil and acrylic on display.

All proceeds raised through purchases and donations at the showing were matched through a grant from the Windgate Foundation. The grant was awarded in conjunction with the Artists on the Avenue showing that will be held as a part of Party at the Plaza benefiting Arkansas Hospice. A special thanks also goes to Vivian Trickey-Smith for organizing the event.
