Eight Opioid Manufacturers Agree to $720 Million in Settlements


Eight generic drug makers have reached a $720 million multistate settlement with New Jersey and other states over their roles in distributing highly addictive opioids, with New Jersey slated to receive nearly $19.8 million. The agreement also imposes marketing restrictions and limits on high-dose opioid sales, aiming to curb further abuse and direct funds toward prevention and treatment efforts. Are Opioid Agonist Treatments Effective in the Fentanyl Era?

Big Ruling for Monmouth County NJ Drug Trafficker After Police Misconduct
