Covid Self-Isolation Control file, shared compliments of Kinnikinnick Foods. This is a blank file, so members will have more control and a better understanding over what is happening with their employees, either on self-Isolation or during a Covid Outbreak in their facilities. We hope it helps! The file has filters built-in, for each column. For example, under the column “This Case Is …”, if you click on the little arrow on the title row of the column, you can filter out the “Closed” cases, so only the “Open” cases show up. This may help for minimizing rows of data that are no longer active. The same action can be done for each column.

INDUSTRY NEWS - Keep updated!
 Essential Services Contingency Reserve (ESCR)
Organizations that provide essential services, such as food sector companies, may request access to the Government of Canada’s ESCR. Essential service business may apply to receive personal protective equipment (PPE), non-medical masks and disinfection products to address urgent, short-term (45 days) needs. It helps essential service bridge critical, temporary gaps in their supplies to avoid any significant disruptions in services to Canadians. Supplies are provided on a cost-recovery basis to businesses that cannot access supplies through other means and when significant service disruptions are imminent.
Before requesting support from the ESCR, your business should visit the PPE supply hub for information on buying personal protective equipment, and explore all other sources of support, including existing support from within your sector and/or provincial governments. In addition to being an essential services provider, you must be a legally registered Canadian business. Information, including how to register click here.

Launch of Pre-Budget Consultations 2021
Finance Canada has launched the Government of Canada’s annual Pre-Budget Consultations (PBC), ahead of Budget 2021. This process invites all Canadians to share their ideas and what matters most to them, to inform and guide Canada’s growth plan and feed into the measures and investments that will make up Budget 2021. When COVID-19 is under control, the government has a plan to make smart, targeted investments that jumpstart the country’s economic recovery and begin to repair the damage done by the pandemic. The government wants to hear the very best ideas on how to continue to support Canadians affected by the pandemic, create new jobs and build a greener, more competitive, more innovative, more inclusive, more resilient Canada. Submit ideas by completing the online survey at letstalkbudget2021.ca.
